There are plenty of facilities at Camping It Wiid!
You can rent one of our boats for a nice day on the water. Or how about a nice bike ride through the national park, with the bikes we rent you can go in every direction. So you are also quickly in other cities such as Leeuwarden, Grou or Sneek.
You can also use our beautiful outdoor pool, lovely on a summer day to cool off. What you can also do with us is enjoy the playground or play a game of tennis on the tennis court.
We also offer sailing courses. During the May vacations and the months of July and August we offer sailing lessons at It Wiid, Friesland. We give courses in optimists, which are ideal sailing boats for youth 7 to 12 years old. The children are taught the basics of sailing: paddling with a sword, steering, rigging the boat, mooring, turning, etc. For more information click on the link sailing courses.

During 6 weeks in the high season, all kinds of activities are organized for guests by our professional recreation team (TOP Recreation). During the day they organize various activities for young and old.

Reception desk
Our reception desk has all the information you need for a lovely day out. There’s a variety of leaflets, and a billboard with posters announcing activities in the area. The reception desk sells cycling and walking maps as well as navigation charts. You can also buy wifi codes for one or multiple devices. The reception desk is opened daily from 09:00-17:00 hrs.
